"How do I book a party?"
-We would love to celebrate with you!
Call us @ 251-463-8602 to find out availability. We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks ahead to get the best possible spot, however, if available, we can book a party with just 48 hours notice.
A $100 deposit is required at time of booking via credit/debit card and will be applied to the final bill. Balance is due on the day of your party. Deposits are non-refundable for any reason and in case of emergency/cancellation, may be applied to a future date scheduled, depending on the circumstances (6 month limit).
"What else do I need to do for my daughter's party?"
-Absolutely nothing! We take care of every detail so that you can truly enjoy your daughter's special day. We provide petit fours and sing the Birthday Song, no need to bring a cake. However, we do have a delicious and adorable teapot cake if you would like to add it to any party package for $40 (it is included in the "Her Royal Highness" Package). We do ask that no outside cakes or food be brought in to Charming Teacup. We have chosen our menu to be mindful of the care and cleaning of our costumes. Your cooperation is appreciated.
If your child has food allergies, we will be happy to work with you to provide a safe environment. No nuts are used in our menu.
"Can I take pictures?"
-Absolutely! You are welcome to take as many pictures as you would like. They will become cherished moments!
We do take pictures during every party and will post them in an album on our Facebook page (Charming Teacup).
So if you want to just sit back and enjoy the party, you can!

"What time should I arrive for my party?"
-Unless you have booked the "Fit for a Queen"* or
"Her Royal Highness"* party package, the birthday girl and other guests should arrive no earlier than five minutes before the scheduled party time. We have everything planned perfectly to make the most of the time allotted for each party. If you arrive earlier than five minutes before, you are welcome to relax on the porch or enjoy visiting the Candy Kitchen next door until it is time for the party to begin.
* Birthday girl arrives 30 minutes before party for this package.
"What makes Charming Teacup special?"
- We take pride in each and every detail to make this an experience you won't soon forget! We are a Victorian tearoom and all of our staff are in full costume and character, speaking with British accents (think Downton Abbey). As soon as you enter, you will be treated like
"one of the richest ladies in all the world", not having to lift a
finger! Our "nippies" (servants) are wonderful! Each tea
table has a silver bell to ring in case you need their assistance.
From the beautiful decor, fabulous tea hats, and dresses, to the dainty china that we have been collecting for years, you will love it! The most consistent comment we receive is:"you are so good at what you do!" We teach how to take a proper
cup of English tea and help the little ladies enter into a world of make believe (a lost art in this tech savvy world!). We even do ballroom dancing and play parlor games to make this the Best. Birthday. Party. Ever!
